About

Hampi, an ancient village in the state of Karnataka is known for its beautiful temples, ruins of palaces, remains of aquatic structures, ancient market streets, royal pavilions, bastions, royal platforms, treasury buildings and much more.

Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this place is charismatic even in its ruined state. The unearthly landscape, undulating terrain, palm groves, banana plantations, paddy fields and vast stretches of boulder-strewn hills make the backdrop of Hampi really unique and a travel photographer’s dream destination and paradise.

The Master Class will navigate through these intimate places and at times intense process of creating a successful Landscape, ancient architecture, people and their environmental images. The class will help you master Golden hour photography when the slanting golden rays make the stone architectures and the scenery and the ruins look so special.

The class will also help the participants learn how to make a great exposure in available light situations. Stress will be on techniques to improve the quality of the travel, architectural & wildlife photography by making images that are unique and well composed that create a strong impact on the viewer.

Stay location at Hampi is at the edge of the Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary, the rugged terrain which is a natural habitat for the sloth bears, offers the element of photo-adventure through guided shoot session of sloth bears in their natural habitat along with wonderful opportunity to spot the avian residents of the area.

The workshop will be lead by an award-winning professional Photographer & Sony Brand Ambassador DHEERAJ PAUL along with Indian Photo Tours professional team, who will guide, inspire and mentor you right through the tour, whatever your level of skill and experience.

Reaching Hampi

The tour spans three full days, starting from lunch on the first day and ending in the evening of third day. Participants should plan to arrive in Hampi latest by 10.30 am on the first day and may depart after 11.30 AM on last day.

The most practical option is to fly to Bangalore and take the Hampi Express. Bangalore is connected with all major cities of India and Hampi Express stops at Yelahanka Railway station, which is much closer to the Bangalore International airport.

We can provide group pick-up from Hospete on the morning of 23rd June and a drop-off post breakfast as on 25th of June 2017.

Several overnight buses are also available from Bangalore.

From Hyderabad: Overnight train (Kcg Ypr Express, train 17603) and buses are available from Hyderabad to Hosapete / Hospet.

From Mumbai: Several overnight buses are available from Mumbai to Hospete
